Heather Bailey - Associate

 

Heather Bailey has twelve years experience as an environmental professional in Australia and internationally. She qualified in 1994 in Environmental Science (Hons) University of East Anglia, England, and in 2003 completed an MSc in Environmental Management and Development at the Australian National University in Canberra, specialising in Environmental Economics. She was awarded the ANU’s Tiri Tiri Prize for academic excellence

Her experience has spanned a wide range of environmental management and policy, culminating in her successful management of the South Australian Biodiversity Offset Scheme which uses a market-based instrument (MBI) to secure biodiversity assets in partnership with agricultural land owners

Heather is also a certified home sustainability assessor (HSA) under the Australian government's Green Loans Program.
